I’m a fashion designer and created a 50 piece series of 1” buttons honoring a variety of social causes. I incorporate these buttons into my garments and the old style pin-backs allow them to lay flat as if they’re sewn on. The current pin-backs in use are very tricky to work with and let’s the buttons hang from the garments rather than be firmly affixed.

The quality of the 1” buttons previously ordered is SUPERB which makes this change in detail so heart breaking—right at the moment the artwork for the remaining 47 button designs was completed. I wish there was a way to revert back to the originals.

I uploaded pics of the modification I made to the current pin-back style of a recent order to reflect the low profile design of the old original pin-back style from a past order. (The pic with double buttons show on the left: current pin-back style & on the right: my modification. 2nd pic shows the desired low profile pin-back style formerly used.)
